Haddy Folivi
Haddy Folivi (BA Hons) is a freelance journalist with over 13 years of media
experience. Haddy (Njie) Folivi has written for a number of UK based publications, including a national paper (New Nation) and a range of music and lifestyle publications (Pride, Touch, Echoes). She has also presented a show on Liberty Radio on several occasions.
In addition to writing well written, engaging stories, Haddy has the proven ability to get PR coverage, and has worked with clients to generate stories that have appeared on radio, local and national newspapers. Haddy is known for her calm, yet professional demeanor and she has interviewed hundreds of stars including Destiny’s Child and Usher.
In 2003, Haddy wrote and taught the UK’s first Music Journalism course. Make me a Music Journalist – The Definitive Print Course was an instant hit, and was sponsored by a national newspaper.
In 2010, Haddy set up her own publishing company, Paraguay Publishing and she released her first book, Tales of a Tired, Tormented Mother in early 2011. The book is a witty take on motherhood, and Haddy wrote the book, whilst juggling the demands of a busy family. Haddy is passionate about the media, and applies excellence to everything that she does.
