C & D Roofing, Sussex 1987
After the hurricane that hit the South of England in 1987 David saw an excellent opportunity to help others by clearing woodland and fallen trees from paths and roadways as he then owned a chainsaw (a necessity of living in the country) this soon progressed into a proper business and he soon developed a roofing and tree clearing company. This was very successful and is still operating to this day although David does not play an active part, preferring to keep his feet on firmer ground!

NCC Courier’s, London 1989 – 1991
With his passion for motorcycles, David teamed up with a fellow enthusiast and started delivering documents all over central London. The company soon expanded and grew to include 6 riders, 2 cyclists and 2 vans up to its sale in 1991 after a friend high up in IT told David about a new thing called eMail that would take most of his business away! A shrewd move, although the company is actually still operating, albeit with a lot more effort and resources required.

Niederthaler Hof Wines 1994 – 2003
David now took another passion of his and turned it into a business; he began consulting for a major vineyard owner from Germany, importing and distributing their fine wines in the UK and Channel Islands, building his knowledge and experience in the wine trade along the way and also studying for his W.S.E.T. (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) exams in London. He passed these with distinction

Great Southern Vineyards 2003 – 2005
Now a major player in the industry, David was headhunted by a group of wine and marketing experts to 
aid them in the setting up and establishing of a new company with an exciting new concept in UK wine sales. This gave David a fantastic challenge and focus and his efforts were greatly rewarded with the company’s success.

Diamond DVD’s 2004 – 2006
As a side line and more of a test to gain essential knowledge in online stores and the retail market David built and launched an online DVD store selling discounted DVD’s covering all genre and at great prices. Essential knowledge was gained and used to its full with further ventures.

Vinisus Wines 2004 – 2010
Following on from his great success with GSV, David turned his attentions to a company of his own and 
he established Vinisus Wines, taking all the best points from his previous experiences in the wine trade. The company’s areas of expertise lie in personal home wine tastings, corporate client entertainment and gifts and trade outlets such as restaurants and hotels. It is also capable of secure online ordering via a fully functioning and state of the art website.

DMK Properties 2005-present
Having a couple of properties already, David decided to expand his portfolio, firstly through a renovation programme, buying and refurbishing properties in the South East, and also by investing in modern properties across the UK and also aboard in other markets including USA, Italy and Hungary.

Vista AudioVisual 2007
With his knowledge in business start ups David was approached by a client interested in taking their 
knowledge and passion for audiovisual and turning it into a viable venture. This opportunity was grasped and Vista AV was born, specialising in home entertainment audio and visual equipment and business aids.

AllWays Cars 2007
David had by now established himself as a business start up guru and after a referral from Vista AV, David was invited to establish a new private hire firm in the South East with all components involved including website, SEO, business plan, marketing material, even the ‘Taxi’ lights for the car roofs! This contract was accepted, the work was very successfully done and ‘AllWays cars’ were launched!

As a joint venture partner, David was key in the acquisition of many venues for this venture which gave 
clients a one stop shop for all their venue needs; a revolution in this sector!

Apartments for rent in Italy 2009 – present
Holiday apartment rental service based in Abruzzo, Italy. This started with the 
complete overhaul and renovation of a fabulous 13th century apartment in a hilltop village, bringing it up to 21st century spec but keeping the old 13th Century charm. Marketing material, website and SEO was all implemented and now fully rentable.

Great Wines Direct 2009 – present
Away from business affairs, one of David’s real passions is fine wine. There have 
been a few businesses he has started in this field, but the one he is truly passionate about is his most successful venture in this field called “Great Wines Direct”
He imports from 20 countries, worldwide, with over 1500 different wines in his portfolio and his wines can be found in many private homes and hotels, golf clubs and fine restaurants.
